FOSS4G Bucharest 2019
FOSS4G is the acronym for Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial. It is the annual recurring global event hosted by OSGeo since its inception in 2006. Its predecessors were rooted in the GRASS and MapServer communities. The event took place on 28-30 August 2019.
The Open Source Geospatial Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to foster global adoption of open geospatial technology by being an inclusive software foundation devoted to an open philosophy and participatory community driven development.
During the 3 day event, CloudFerro was present with a booth, 3x2m2. Representatives from CloudFerro were in charge of promoting and showcasing the IMPRESSIVE project among others.
